I was confused on the differences between the Dynaflex Iron Power Force 1 - Silver, Metal Powerball and Dynaflex Iron Power Force 2 - Black and the Vpower, so I google translated the german website. The Ironpower Force One has an aluminum rotor and the Force Two has a stainless steel rotor and therefore weighs about twice as much. The Vpower is a more recent design with a rotor made of both aluminum and stainless steel. The website wasn't that detailed but it seems to combine the weight of the Force One with the spinning power of the Force Two? Everyone who sees this without knowing what it is thinks I am spinning an apple. This powerball is unlike any I have used before. The most noticeable difference is how quiet it is which has to do with how smooth it spins. There is very minimal hum as it spins and this can be done in many places without drawing attention due to the ruckus. Second it is definitely heavy in comparison to previous models. One reviewer commented that it is also more slippery than previous models which is true partially due to the increased force needed to hold it.I had purchased this for physical therapy use with regular powerballs being sent home for use outside of therapy. This is commercial quality and is made to last. It is similar to buying a commercial treadmill versus a Weider home treadmill. This is made to last. I upgraded from my Powerball to this unit for more force, and I love this thing! Its like the normal Dynaflex Powerball on steroids. The added weight of the gyro alone makes it that much more of a workout. Not to mention that it is sooo quiet! If your a rock climber, I would pick one of these up as this will make your grip strength go through the roof and give your forearms such a pump.An added bonus, it comes with a set of replacement rings so if it ever stops working as well as it did, I can swap out the old rings with the new ones they provide. Taking it apart couldnt be easier, the two halves unscrew from each other so it can be done in less than 5 seconds. So the V-Power can last you forever, you just need to replace the guide rings. Great tool for arm wrestlers, rock climbers, and anybody looking to get killer forearms and grip strength. |
